What is an Anti-wrinkle injection? 

Commonly referred to as Botox, anti-wrinkle injections are used to smooth lines and wrinkles for a younger, more rejuvenated look.  It is injected directly into muscles that cause facial wrinkles to form; by temporarily relaxing the muscles, the skin will appear smoother.

Treatable Areas

Forehead and eyes:

Frown lines, crow’s feet and ‘expression lines’ are the most common dynamic wrinkles that can get treated; these are lines on the upper face, such as the ‘11’ between the brows, horizontal lines on the forehead, and crow's feet around the eyes.

Nose:

Wrinkles around the nose, also known as ‘bunny lines’, can be smoothed by using anti-wrinkle treatment.

Lips:

Wrinkles around the lips can be a common complaint and often referred to as ‘smoker’s lines’ due to this being a common cause amongst smokers.  Anti-wrinkle injections in this area can improve appearance and also prevent the development of future lines and deeper wrinkles.
